Q. What does IP34 mean?

IP (or "Ingress Protection") ratings are defined in international standard EN 60529 (British BS EN 60529:1992, European IEC 60509:1989). They are used to define levels of sealing effectiveness of electrical enclosures against intrusion from foreign bodies (tools, dirt etc) and moisture.

The Valera hotello is suitable for areas where there is a possibility of splashing water - water splashing against the hairdryer with have no harmful effect.

 Q.  How high should I install this hairdryer

A.  it is always important to ask the plumber which position would be the best according to technical reasons. However, we would recommend to mount it on the height of approximately 1.30 – 1.50m from the bottom. Mounted at this height, the hose with the handgrip won’t hit the floor if somebody lost the grip.
