The Freedom Ecoflow is an energy efficient, eco friendly hand dryer with a lower price tag.

Speed :

Manufacturer Freedom Dryers states a dry time of 8 - 12 seconds

The manufacturers have stated that the drying time for this hand dryer is 8 - 12 seconds which by any standard is a fast dry.  It has a single concentrated airflow outlet and high powered motor which combined produce air speeds of 105 m/s which blasts the water from the hands.

Noise :

Usage :

 Recommended for low usage washrooms up to 100 uses per day

Energy Efficiency :

This hand dryer has a built in sensor that knows when the ambient temperature of you washroom drops below 24ºC.  It will only then activate the heat energy to dry your hands.  This makes it more comfortable for the user.  Many of the more expensive Eco dryers do not have this as an option and will only blow out cold air when used infrequently.  It has a minimum power rating of 550W and a maximum power rating of 1400W.

Hygiene :

The Freedom Ecoflow offers non-touch action and a relatively swift dry. It does not come with any enhanced hygiene features.

Product Longevity : :

The Freedom Ecoflow has a universal brush motor, the manufacturer states that these will last approx 500 continuous hours or 112,500 drying cycles before being replaced.

Installation :

The Ecoflow is a compact hand dryer and is relatively easy to install,  All hand dryers require a suitable fused spur for installation

Vandal Resistant :

The Freedom Ecoflow is a sturdy unit as the cover is 1.5mm thick stainless steel, you also require a special key to remove the cover for any maintenance that may be required.  There are no places with which to lever the dryer from the wall due to its shape.

User Friendliness :

The noise level is fairly high for a high speed dryer; this is a key consideration, as wheelchair users can often be drying hands at ear level. With regards use by individuals with other disabilities, the unit has a single air outlet limiting the hand positioning of the user.
