Proox Dispensers

Nothing says premium than having Proox in your establishment. From the materials used to its design, you’re sure to see a subtle whisper of luxury in your washrooms. Proox creates products that do not conform to the typical ones you see in the market but instead they design, manufacture, and provide washroom accessories that stand out.

Because of this philosophy, you’ll find that their products err more on the beautiful yet functional side. Focusing on barebones yet highly useful products, Proox only wants to provide you with what your washroom needs in a prestigious design that is timeless.

Brand Overview and History

Proox is a fairly new company yet it already has impacted the market in such a way that its brand is already utilized by top designers and architects worldwide. The brand has been the choice of a number of architectural firms for their projects that lean more on having sophistication in their design.

The company is founded and owned by Armin Degasperi. He envisioned Proox to be an architect’s favorite brand for washroom accessories. Proox’s path on pursuing upscale sanitation solutions led them to focus and highlight the designs of their products. Armin also decided that their products should have three major attributes embodied by these words: purity, atmosphere, and individuality.

Proox also recognizes the need for the industry to look for more sustainable ways in producing washroom accessories. The company always finds methods to help mitigate the decreasing amount of natural resources and opts to include recycling in its design and manufacturing processes.

In line with this, Proox uses recycled stainless steel in its products. Since stainless steel is easier to separate from other materials, they’re much simpler to recycle. Proox also says that stainless steel’s melting chemistry is easy to analyze and therefore they can quickly match and reproduce the raw materials needed for their washroom accessories.

The addition of recycling stainless steel can help ensure that a major raw material of Proox’s product lines does not run out.

Strategic Brand Partnership

Additionally, the company has partnered with STUDIO BEZDEKA to help design Proox’s products under the One line. They are an industrial design office based in Vienna that received the commission from Proox.

The direction is simple - to create washroom accessories that can be easily hidden from plain view. This includes keeping the exterior of the products as neutral as possible. That’s why the colors of Proox’s product line mostly consist of neutral colors such as black, white, and beige.

STUDIO BEZDEKA also incorporated a simple exterior design that aligns with the look Proox wanted but is also functional. This is where the perforated pattern design comes from. This is achieved by drilling 4mm holes in the exterior of Proox’s products such as waste bins and paper towel dispensers.

Premium Quality Washroom Dispensers

Products with luxurious looks start from the quality of materials used in their construction. What good is a design if it’s not executed well using the best base items for its purpose? That’s why Proox only sources and uses high-quality raw materials for its products.

Even trash bins look elegant under the Proox design language.

Just take a look at the One Pure Sanitary Bin. It’s manufactured from stainless steel to ensure durability and has a brushed exterior to give off a more refined look. It also has a plastic bin to make cleaning convenient for its users.

Another product in our store that exudes the luxurious feel of Proox is the Dark Passion Hand Dryer. The typical hand dryer exterior is made from durable plastic. But for the purposes of Proox in creating stylish washroom accessories, metal exteriors fit better.

Proox hand dryers boast anodised aluminum exteriors that went through pearl blasting. This gives each of their product a smoother and more refined feel. Just one touch of their hand dryers and you’ll already see the difference in the materials used.

Washrooms With A Touch Of Class

Proox aims not to follow what has already been done by its competitors. While trying to eat a chunk of the market leaders’ business is a common strategy, Proox wants to do something differently. After all, they are a unique company that offers distinctive products.

Proox shows its dedication to standing out of the crowd by adding sophistication to your space.

Part of Proox’s philosophy is to focus on design. They created their products to be “loved by architects.” Having loud and in-your-face designs can sometimes disrupt the looks that architects and interior designers created for a building. And because of this, Proox’s design language centers on clean lines and non-obtrusive shapes.

If you’re one who subscribes to the minimalism movement, you’ll definitely appreciate the beauty of Proox’s almost artistic approach to washroom accessories. You won’t find protruding items or overly large design silhouettes.

Proox thinks of washrooms as not only a place of sanitation and privacy but also a space where beauty can be displayed. It may not be a place where you typically see art, but that’s exactly how Proox positions and designs its products.

Brand References

If you want to see the actual execution of Proox’s product line, you can do so by visiting beautiful establishments that used their equipment for its accessories. Here’s a list of a few places you can visit:

  • Dokk1, Aarhus, Denmark.
  • Shopping Arena St. Gallen.
  • Exhibition, Dornbirn, Austria.
  • School at the lake, Hard, Austria.
  • EMA – European Medicines Agency, Amsterdam, Netherlands.
  • 2226 Lustenau – Company headquarters of Baumschlager Eberle Architekten, Lustenau, Austria.

It won’t be a surprise that in the future, more and more designers, architects, and business owners would want Proox in their buildings and other projects. The brand simply emanates an artful execution of everyday washroom items and improves the ambiance of any washroom to the next level.
