The Qbic Stealth Blade Hand Dryer is an intelligent dryer which is extremely energy efficient, is is comparable with the Dyson Airblade DB but is much quieter making it a great alternative.  It has a built in intelligent system which controls the heat used when drying your hands and will only use heat when the temperature falls below 24ºC,  the speed of the motor can also be changed as it has 2 options which saves even more energy.

Manufacturer states a dry time of 10 - 15 seconds

Noise :

Manufacturer states  a decibel rating of between 70-75 dB(A)

Usage :

Recommended for high usage washrooms over 300 uses per day

Energy Efficiency :

The Qbic Stealth Blade is very energy efficient, using an intelligent heat system to minimise the use of unnecessary power.  The intelligent system will add heat to the airflow, if it senses that the washroom is colder than 24ºC, creating a more comfortable feeling on the hands in cold environments.  There is the option of 2 motor speeds to further reduce energy consumption.

The manufacturer states that at 750W power it will use approx 3.06 watts per dry and at 1.65kW power it will use approx 4.58 watts per dry

Hygiene :

The Stealth Blade is equipped with a hygienic HEPA filter which cleans the air of bacteria and dust prior to it being blown onto your hands.  It also has an integrated UVC tube  which cleans the HEPA filter ensuring that it doesn't become contaminated.  The cover of the dryer also has an Anti-microbial coating.

Product Longevity :

 This hand dryer is suitable for high usage washrooms and with a brushless motor it ensures that the unit will be long lasting and require minimum maintenance.  Manufacturers state that the motor is suitable for 2000 continuous hours or 450,000 drying cycles.

Installation :

The Qbic Stealth Blade is classed as moderately complex to install and some considerations need to be made on installation.  All hand dryers require a suitable fused spur for installation and should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Vandal Resistance :

The Qbic Stealth Blade should not be installed where vandalism is a concern.

User Friendliness :

The LED display will also advise of any faults or maintenance requirements that your unit will require for example when the HEPA filter will require changing or the drip tank requires emptying.
